It's not clear whether this poster is fan-made, or an official, has-yet-unreleased teaser. Screen Rant discovered it posted on Instagram, having apparently originally been photographed in the office of The Wolverine director James Mangold. Regardless of its authenticity, the image of Wolverine's claws slicing through a Japanese flag is pretty sweet and evocative of Logan's samurai roots.

In this week's episode of the Blade anime series, Wolverine makes an appearance as Blade finds himself in Madripoor.

Blade airs Friday, June 24 at 11:00 p.m. ET on G4.

The long awaited follow-up to X-Men Origins: Wolverine has a release date. The Wolverine will open in theaters July 23, 203, opposite Lionsgate's Dirty Dancing remake and Disney's Phineas and Ferb movie. Tom Cruise's sci-fi flick, currently untitled but formerly known as Horizons and Oblivion, will open the week before, and assuming it has a title and a plot to speak of, it stands as the only movie that might give Wolvie a run for his money at the box office.

Hugh Jackman is returning as Wolverine for the movie, which will be set in Japan and is set to be directed by James Mangold.

Maybe the single biggest surprise since Marvel's support of the heinous SOPA bill is that Wolverine is the only one not fighting on the cover of Wolverine and the X-Men #9.

I guess when it comes to Avengers vs. X-Men, he's just a wilting lily who can't decide. That seems pretty in-character, huh?

Social discount service Groupon has seen tremendous growth in its short life, though some have questioned the long-term viability of its business model. However, according to CEO Andrew Mason, they're built to last - like Wolverine. Speaking to 60 Minutes' Lesley Stahl, Mason said "We’re like Wolverine and our skin has been melted off, and we’ve had Adamantium fused onto our bones."

He makes the Wolverine comparison at about the 10:50 mark below, amidst flurries of accusations of everything from being thin-skinned to running a con operation. Well, Wolverine's had his rough patches with the critics too - X-Men Origins: Wolverine, anyone?
