The origins of the never-ending war of birds vs. pigs is further explored in this second part of the Angry Birds fan-made motion comic (see part one here). In this installment, the birds, still reeling from their loss, prepare to launch their offensive, and just as things look darkest they discover a super-weapon that could help them win the war on swine. But has one of their own been turned?

So all that fun you have playing Angry Birds on your little cell phone all day? That fun comes at the expense of this bird's UNBORN CHILD! 

I hope you feel good about yourself. And don't even get me started on the horror that inspired Tetris.

Yeah, no, it's 'shopped. But still awesome. I'd proudly display it on the shelf next to my Angry Birds of Prey comic.

The Angry Brids/superhero mash-up trend shows no signs of slowing down; from Angry Spider-Bird vs. Venom-Pig to Angry Birds of Prey it's clearly a match made in heaven.

Yet another example of how comic heroes and Angry Birds are two great tastes that taste great together is this T-shirt, an Angry Birds take on the Worlds' Finest team of Superman and Batman.

Two of the best things in comics today - Gail Simone, one of the greatest creators in comics today, Birds of Prey in particular being a comic whose characters she's displayed a remarkable affinity for - and Angry Birds, the biggest thing in gaming addiction since World of Warcraft.

I would buy the hell out of this. I would even go so far as to buy the inevitable Black Lantern pig variant.

Of course it's directed by Michael Bay! Thing is, with a Battleship movie on the horizon, this is amusing but not at all unrealistic.

And Angry Birds has more of an actual plot than, say, Sucker Punch, so throw in some steampunk imagery and maybe put the birds in lingerie and I see no reason why this shouldn't be a box office smash.
