Today's the day that the Venture Bros. Season 4, Vol. 2 DVD and the Complete Season 4 Blu-ray hit stores - and come home with me, so I can finally watch the uncensored season finale and learn the terrible truth of what a Rusty Venture really is.

Jackson Publick has announced on his blog that they have officially re-upped with Adult Swim for two more seasons, in addition to a "long-form (60-90 min.) Venture Bros. special".

I don't know what form said special will take but I'm relatively certain it will be amazing.

Venture Bros. is the best thing to hapen to TV since 1967's Spider-Man series. OK, Joss Whedon is also awesome, but he's in a class unto himself, he doesn't count, and in any event he's moved on to the web, comics, and gigantic big-screen blockbusters.

The Venture Bros. are the best thing on TV, just as surely as Jackson Publick is the best thing on LiveJournal and this is the best news I've read all day.
