So yes, Star Wars is finally going to be released on Blu-ray internationally on September 12, and here in the US on September 16. Meanwhile, my big-ass LaserDisc from 1993 gathers dust and stares at me accusingly from the shelf.

I was SO sure that people would get over that whole "flipping the movie over four times" thing and it was gonna catch on. Ah, well. I had high hopes for the MiniDisc, too. Never ask me for tech stock tips.
