Marvel Nixes Original 'Iron Man 2' Opening Scene

Does Happy Hogan work for Marvel Studios? According to Jon Favreau, the powers that be nixed the original opening scene he had planned for Iron Man 2. He told the Huffington Post:

"We wanted to open up Iron Man 2 with Tony waking up, looking over, seeing that he's laying next to Pepper Potts and that they'd just slept together, and just being really freaked out, like, what's he going to do?"

What does he ALWAYS do? He gets amnesia, and everyone gives him a pass. Iron Man is a very colorful superhero, but he is kind of a total insufferable dick. Still, that would have been a very cool opening scene.
