Batman: Arkham City - Game of the Year Edition is set to be released on May 29, in a collector's edition including all previously released DLC packs as well as the new 'Harley Quinn's Revenge.' Of course, fans who don't want to purchase the new collection, and only need the Harley Quinn pack won't be left out in the cold - it will be available for individual download on May 29 as well from XBox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network. As for the GOTY, check out this sweet looking trailer.

Batman: Arkham City was certainly my game of the year, and apparently Rocksteady Studios agrees with me. Arkham City gets a GOTY release for Xbox 360 and PS3 on May 29, including all the previous DLC, plus the hinted-at 'Harley Quinn's Revenge.' Also, in the US and Canada the package will include a video download of the Batman: Year One animated movie

'Harley Quinn's Revenge' is a mission playable as both Batman and Robin, in fact players will switch back and forth between the two as they try to stop the newly-brunette Harl's latest insane plan. For those like myself who already have the game and all available DLC, 'Harley Quinn's Revenge' Pack will be available for download from the PlayStation Network and the Xbox LIVE Marketplace on May 29.

Apparently I'm not alone in thinking Batman: Arkham City was the best game of 2011. Rocksteady's latest dark journey into the world of Batman tops the Metacritic 2011 chart, narrowly beating The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Wave 3 of Mattel's Batman Legacy action figures goes ranges from the Golden Age through the present, with first appearance Batman and Catwoman figures, and the Arkham City editions of Nightwing and Harley Quinn.

Arkham City has come to the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad in the form of Batman: Arkham City Lockdown. The brand new Infinity Blade II-style fighter made its debut on iOS devices last night, and is available for download now from iTunes and the App Store. In addition to Unreal Engine-powered battles with enemies including The Joker, Two-Face and the iOS exclusive Deathstroke, the game features awesome extras including variant skins and bonus content.

The variant skins of Batman: Arkham City, originally available as pre-order exclusives, have been released in one big DLC package from WB Interactive. For $4.99 or 400 Microsoft Points, XBox 360 and PlayStation 3 users can download the following skins:
