Avengers Teaser Poster Released!

Perhaps you've heard about this low-profile indie movie, The Avengers. It's only like the most-anticipated movie ever, finally putting the Earth's Mightiest Heroes on the big screen, written and directed by geek god Joss Whedon.

Here's the first official teaser poster for the film, which will have a very short teaser at the end of Captain America: The First Avenger, and will screen some early footage at next month's Disney expo D23.

The Avengers, starring Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Clark Gregg, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgård and Amanda Righetti, premieres May 4, 2012.
