Thor will be released on across multiple formats September 13, 2011; DVD, Blu-ray, and a special edition Blu-ray combo pack, featuring the movie in HD in both 3D and 2D. But what really has my interest piqued is the bonus material:

Both sets come fully loaded with over 80 minutes of immersive bonus materials including an exclusive special feature that goes deeper into the Marvel Universe, a sneak peek into Marvel's The Avengers [emphasis mine), an unprecedented look inside the world of director Kenneth Branagh and much more.

Well, I for one am looking forward to seeing the world of Kenneth Branagh. Oh and that AVENGERS sneak peek sounds mildly interesting, too! Can't wait.

The recent motion comic Thor and Loki: Blood Brothers, based on Rob Rodi and Esad Ribic's Loki miniseries, will also be released on DVD on September 13.
