A little X-Men: First Class viral marketing mixed with product placement dollars - love that Marvel! Hard to believe that the money-making machine we know and love was once the most bankrupt company on the planet.

Anyway, this super-weird ad aired during tonight's series finale episode of The Event, and there's a whole lot of glorious WTF here. Is this class taking place during the 1960s? Does Beast want to become an insurance agent because this whole 'stopping the Cuban Missile Crisis' thing doesn't look like a long-term career option?

It's good fun, though. I'm still enormously excited for this movie, although this is the first video yet that hasn't contributed to that excitement, so as a promotional tool I give this class a generous "D".
