New 'Conan the Barbarian' Poster

"Born on the Battlefield!"

Blood will flow in Conan the Barbarian! I mean, there are like 40 people dying in this still image alone, so I've got to figure there's gonna be some corpses in the movie proper.

This new promotional poster premiered today on IGN. In case you missed it, click here to see the trailer.

Conan the Barbarian Trailer

Here's the first theatrical trailer for the upcoming reboot of Conan The Barbarian, directed by Marcus Nispel and starring Jason Momoa and an assortment of monsters.

Conan is a young Cimmerian man cast adrift in the world by the brutal murder of his father and the destruction of his village. Driven by the need to avenge himself upon the evil Khalar Zym, Conan learns to steal, seduce, and fight his way to his goals. He soon discovers, however, that there are greater things at stake than his own personal quest: an unearthly malevolence stalks the world, and it may be up to Conan himself to save Hyboria from ruin.

Conan The Barbarian Launches Website, Eerily Interactive Poster

Update your flash plugins, Conan fans, because the upcoming Conan The Barbarian film has launched a website that loads so slowly you'll swear it's - if not medieval times - at least 1994, when loading a graphic meant clearing your day planner.

Also, the poster uses flash. It's pretty cool, provided you're not using an iPad. The noise? Don't love it. But it's a new field, this 3D movie publicity thang. All in all, I approve of any picture of Conan looking all Danzig as he gazes down at a mound of skulls. Shades of Frazetta, Windsor-Smith, etc.

Click here to see (and hear) the motion poster, and check out the awesome, if processor-intensive, Conan movie Website at conanthebarbarianin3d.com.
