'Justice League: Doom' Cast Announced

An assemblage of fan favorites join Justice League voice veterans in the cast of the upcoming DC animated feature, Justice League: Doom. Nathan Fillion, who voiced Hal Jordan in the recent Green Lantern: Emerald Knights, is back on board. Batman and Superman animated series stars Kevin Conroy and Tim Daly are reunited with their Justice League teammates Michael Rosenbaum (The Flash) and Susan Eisnenberg (Wonder Woman).

Carl Lumbly is voicing Martian Manhunter, and Bumper Robinson will be providing the voice of Cyborg.

Doom is based on Mark Waid's JLA storyline Tower of Babel, in which Batman's emergency protocols for taking out a rogue Justice League are stolen and put into motion by some super-baddies who Batman really should have seen coming.

If that sounds familiar, it's worth noting that Babel was one of many classic JLA stories that inspired the Justice League TV movie/series finale (before the show became Justice League Unlimited), Starcrossed.

Justice League: Doom is set for release in early 2012. A trailer will be screened at New York Comic-Con on October 14, and included with the Batman: Year One DVD, in stores October 18.
