It's official - Miles Morales is a hit! Ultimate Spider-Man Vol. 3 #1 broke same-day download records, the new Ultimate Spidey-suit will be playable in the Spider-Man: Edge of Time game, and - the ultimate in status symbols - a Miles Morales Minimate is set for release in 2012.

Miles will join the Marvel Minimates toy line next summer, as a 2-inch tall Minimate that showcases the new Ultimate Spider-Man costume. The figure will have 14 points of articulation, a webline accessory and a remov able mask that reveals Miles' face underneath. Look for him in an exclusive two-pack at Toys "R" Us, alongside a classic Spider-Man villain to be revealed later!

I'm definitely picking this one up, as I too have Miles fever. Anyone want to speculate on the identity of the mystery villain? I'm thinking it will be Earth-616 Green Goblin, any takers?
